Schedule: Regular hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm.
Aviation Maintenance Instructor Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Requirements:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
3+ years of verifiable aviation industry or military aviation experience
We provide training for new faculty members, so teaching experience is ideal, but not required.
Familiarization with computers for using teaching software and email.
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Aviation Maintenance Instructor Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct classroom presentations; guide students in the laboratory for hands-on instruction and practice; manage laboratory equipment and inventory; and evaluate student performance. A full job description will be provided during the interview process.
