Full Stack Engineer

Codeworks, a LRS Company is an IT Services firm, known for our strong commitment to quality and for our direct client relationships.

Our financial services client located in Milwaukee, WI is looking to bring aboard a Java developer to join their team in support of multiple development initiatives. This will be on a long term contract basis, with a strong likelihood of additional long-term extensions.

This individual will be joining a team of 4 developers who support Reinsurance administration systems related to a Life and Annuity product line.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• Development with Java, Spring Boot, , and
• Professional PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Figma or UX design tools is a plus
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in a software engineering or application development role
• Experience developing solutions using agile methods, with a focus on client needs
• Capable of communicating well with technical peers and business side experts
• Ability to perform peer reviews on design and resulting code
• Solid understanding of system design patterns and architectural concepts
• Full Stack developer with strong working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, React, HTML5, CSS, functional components, hooks, and Redux.
• Experience with DevOps and Git.
• Relational and non-relational database knowledge and experience, including Postgres and DynamoDB preferred.

Codeworks discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $45/hr and $52/hr. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable. All full time Codeworks employees are eligible to enroll in the company's medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
