Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Teacher Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help nurture young minds and support classroom success. In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children across preschool, toddler, and infant age groups. Your energy and compassion will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families, fostering growth through play, learning, and positive interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
  • Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through attentive caregiving and engaging activities
  • Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, rest periods, and transitions to ensure safety at all times
  • Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes learning and safety
  • Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, following care plans and behavior management strategies
  • Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and guiding children in developing social skills
  • Assist with basic first aid or emergency procedures when necessary, ensuring the well-being of all children

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in special education or behavior support is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members
  • Passion for nurturing young learners and supporting their growth through caring guidance and educational activities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
