Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival, providing friendly and professional service from the moment they step in
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to optimize seating flow and minimize wait times
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold a welcoming atmosphere
• Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Host/Host or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest interactions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not required
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Passion for hospitality, guest services, and creating memorable dining experiences
