Yutori is a welcoming, authentic Japanese restaurant offering high-quality cuisine and exceptional customer service. We are looking for friendly, motivated servers who are passionate about hospitality and interested in Japanese food and culture. We are expected to open beginning 2026

Position Overview

As a Server, you will play a key role in creating an outstanding dining experience for our guests. You'll provide attentive service, explain menu items, take orders, and work closely with our kitchen team to ensure accuracy and quality. Training will be provided for all menu items and cultural service elements.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional manner
• Explain menu items and offer recommendations
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
• Serve dishes promptly and follow traditional Japanese service etiquette when appropriate
• Ensure tables are clean, organized, and properly set
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns
• Process payments and provide receipts
• Perform side work such as restocking, cleaning, and preparing service areas
• Collaborate with kitchen and staff to maintain smooth operations

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred (Japanese cuisine experience is a plus)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn about Japanese food, beverages, and dining customs
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
