Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional bartender to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for food and hospitality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings, is highly valued. This role involves engaging with guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction from start to finish.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen duties as needed to support smooth operations
• Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
• Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as FoodTec is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Experience in food handling, sanitation, and food safety regulations
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with guests and team members
• Previous experience in fine dining, nightlife venues, or high-volume restaurants is advantageous
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Knowledge of upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous host/host or serving experience is a plus
• Familiarity with the food industry standards for food preparation, serving, and guest services
