Non-CDL Driver

Summary: Delivers and picks up wheels and brakes which includes loading and unloading by performing the following duties. NON-CDL Position.

Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Loads van and truck with wheel and brakes ensuring they are safely secure.*

· Delivers them in timely and safe fashion at customer's facility.*

· Controls operations of equipment or systems.*

· Talks to others to convey information effectively.*

· Understands written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.*

· Provides information to supervisor & co-workers by telephone, in written form, email, or in person.*

· Reports any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles through the roadside assistance program.*

· Reports delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.*

· Inspects and maintains vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.*

· Ability to obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures

· Ability to drive in rain, snow, and heat

· Ability to read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions

· Ability to verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers

· Ability to load and unload trucks, vans, automobiles

· Ability to know your location in relation to the environment or to know where other objects are in relation to you

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
