Join Our Substitute Teaching Team at The Little French School

Are you passionate about working with young children? Would you like to be part of an international, multilingual school community in Eugene? The Little French School is growing, and we are looking for teacher-qualified substitute teachers to join our on-call list.

French fluency is preferred but not required.

Many of our staff and teachers come from diverse backgrounds, speak multiple languages, and bring a high level of education and care to our classrooms. We value creativity, cultural awareness, and meaningful relationships with children and families.

About Our School
The Little French School offers a bilingual early childhood program where children learn through play, exploration, and connection. Our small class sizes and individualized approach help us meet each child's interests and developmental needs. Teachers model kindness, curiosity, and respect. We create a warm, safe environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically while gradually learning French throughout the day.

What You'll Do
As an on-call substitute, you will support our classrooms in a variety of ways depending on daily needs. You may lead activities, assist with small groups, cover breaks, help in the office, or support routines. You will build relationships with students, engage them in creative and enriching experiences, and interact with families throughout the day. You will be part of a supportive and welcoming team that values collaboration and care.

Who We're Looking For
We are looking for teacher-qualified individuals who are dependable, enthusiastic, and enjoy working with young children. To be eligible, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid Central Background Registry (CBR) number
• Hold current Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification
• Have a current Food Handler's Card
• Have a myORO
