This is a hybrid position consisting of managing client activity and operating shipments from pick to delivery. In an operations capacity, the ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all modes of transportation – Ground, Air & Sea – as well as overseeing the necessary steps needed to insure on time and safe transportation for domestic and international cargo. As a project manager, they will be required to interact with the customer and communicate all information pertaining to the shipment and shipping process. Timely preparation of budgets and invoices will be required for all shipments. Additionally, there will be on the road attendance required for required projects/shows.

Work Schedule
: Monday-Friday. Schedule fluctuates based on workloads (Core hours 9AM-6PM). Rotation of on-call weekend responsibilities.

Experience:
Must have 3-5 years experience in freight operations and customer interactions

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Shipment Management: Oversee domestic and international freight operations across all transportation modes—Ground, Air, and Sea—from initial planning to final delivery, ensuring safe and timely cargo movement.
  • Project Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the shipping process.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage job files using proprietary company software, ensuring accuracy, organization, and adherence to company standards for budget and invoice preparation.
  • Client & Business Development: Support existing client relationships by delivering exceptional service while identifying opportunities for business growth and additional revenue streams.
  • Global Collaboration: Develop and maintain relationships with foreign and domestic agents to enhance operational efficiency and service reliability.
  • On-Site Support: Travel to exhibitions, live events, and project locations as required, providing hands-on logistics oversight and ensuring event success through on-the-ground coordination.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously analyze workflows and suggest improvements to optimize operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and align with company goals.
