Commercial Safe and Lock inc. is looking for a seasoned Senior Bookkeeper to lead our financial operations in Fenton. We aren't just looking for someone to enter data; we are looking for a financial pillar who understands the nuances of job costing, service invoicing, and the rhythm of a busy door and security company.

The Role: Beyond the Basics

You will manage the heartbeat of our business. If you have experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical bookkeeping, you'll be right at home with our workflows:

• Revenue Management: Take ownership of the AR lifecycle, from complex service invoicing to proactive collections.
• Full-Cycle AP & Payroll: Manage vendor relationships and ensure our hardworking field team is paid accurately and on time every week.
• Financial Integrity: Handle monthly reconciliations and maintain a "clean" general ledger that is always audit-ready.
• Strategic Reporting: Provide the owner with the income statements and balance sheets needed to make informed growth decisions.
• Compliance Expert: Navigate sales tax filings and year-end tax prep with precision.

Qualifications for the Pro

• Deep Experience: 5+ years of bookkeeping, specifically within construction, security, or specialized trades.
• Software Mastery: Expert-level QuickBooks and Excel skills are a must.
• Industry Knowledge: You understand job costing, progress billing, and the importance of lien waivers.
• Sharp Mindset: You catch the discrepancies others miss and handle sensitive data with total discretion.

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
