Automotive Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated A level Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, with the ability to work efficiently on a variety of vehicle makes and models. This role involves performing repairs, diagnosing issues, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Experience with dealership procedures, automotive electrical systems, and various repair techniques is highly valued. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced tools and schematics to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering systems.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections.
• Repair or replace vehicle components including air brakes, ADAS systems, auto body parts, and automotive electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to accurately diagnose complex problems.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to customers or service advisors.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Experience

• Proven experience as an automotive mechanic with dealership or independent repair shop background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, diesel engine repair, and powertrain components.
• Familiarity with all make & models
• Skilled in using various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery.
• Knowledge of Schematics, automotive electrical systems, wheel alignment techniques, suspension repair including shocks & struts, brake repair procedures.
• Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients seeking vehicle maintenance or repairs. Pay: $ $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 70.0 per week
