Overview
We are seeking experienced and motivated Shift Supervisors to join our Kentucky Fried Chicken team. This leadership role is essential in ensuring smooth restaurant operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, team leadership, and operational oversight within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment. Previous experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, along with supervisory experience in hospitality or restaurant settings, is highly desirable. Duties

• Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards
• Supervise and motivate staff members, including training new team members and providing ongoing development opportunities
• Manage food preparation processes to ensure quality, safety, and consistency in all menu items
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and control food costs to maintain profitability
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
• Assist in managing kitchen operations, including food production, cooking, and plating for quick service & fast food restaurant environments
• Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and resolving customer concerns promptly
• Support shift management tasks such as scheduling, staffing adjustments, and maintaining operational flow during busy periods
• Conduct staff training sessions on food handling, safety procedures, and customer service best practices
• Participate in interviewing potential new hires and contribute to staffing decisions
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment conducive to efficient restaurant operation

Requirements

• Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service & fast food restaurants; casual dining or fine dining experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety standards
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
• Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
• Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes effectively
• Strong communication skills suitable for staff training and team coordination
• Hospitality management background or hotel/banquet experience is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours including shifts during peak times; previous shift management experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary or hospitality training beneficial
