Duties

• Greet guests with a cheerful attitude, providing exceptional customer service and guest relations from arrival to departure
• Manage reservation bookings and seating arrangements to optimize flow and reduce wait times
• Operate POS systems such as FIG to accurately process orders and payments
• Handle cashier duties including cash handling, credit card processing, and issuing receipts with precision
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring all guest areas are welcoming and professional
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate seating and service flow
• Uphold phone etiquette standards when taking reservations or answering guest inquiries

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/host or in food service is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Experience with restaurant POS systems is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with guests confidently
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of guest services, serving protocols, and restaurant operations is beneficial
