Role Overview

Ascenteum is seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager
 to support strategic initiatives within the 
Wealth and Distribution Technology
 organization. This role sits within the Strategy and Execution team, a global group of experienced professionals focused on aligning technology delivery with business strategy and driving end-to-end execution of complex technology and data programs.

The Project Manager will lead multiple concurrent initiatives, partner closely with business and technical stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of high-value technology solutions across Wealth Management platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead 
  program and project management
   activities for complex technology and data initiatives across the full project lifecycle
• Drive 
  end-to-end execution
  , ensuring alignment with business strategy and measurable delivery of business value
• Manage multiple parallel initiatives independently, coordinating across global teams in the US, India, and Romania
• Partner closely with business leaders, product owners, engineers, and data teams to translate strategy into execution
• Apply and adapt 
  waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies
   based on project needs
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and issues; lead escalation management and root cause analysis
• Influence and negotiate with stakeholders to ensure alignment across business and technology priorities
• Support and promote agile practices that enhance collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement
• Drive strong governance, reporting, and communication across all levels of the organization

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years of experience in 
  IT / software development / data project management
• Proven ability to manage large-scale, broad-scope initiatives across diverse applications
• Strong experience working across all phases of the project lifecycle
• Demonstrated success partnering with both business and technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to influence peers, leaders, and business customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred / Ideal Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or an analytical field (Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science preferred)
• Experience supporting initiatives with both short-term and long-term strategic impact
• Hands-on experience implementing agile delivery practices
• Experience with 
  BI tools, reporting, and data analysis
• Working knowledge of SQL, databases, ETL, and data warehouse concepts
