Financial Controller

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in accounting, financial management, and regulatory compliance, with a strong understanding of both nonprofit and governmental accounting standards. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and supporting strategic decision-making through comprehensive financial analysis. The Financial Controller will lead a team of accounting professionals and collaborate with executive leadership to uphold the organization's financial integrity and compliance with applicable regulations.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of general ledger accounting, including balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
• Oversee financial report writing and ensure timely preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, including SOX controls and other governmental regulations.
• Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes, including
