Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple orders.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar food industry role, preferably in fine dining or upscale restaurants.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques like tempura, sauté and the flat top .
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
