Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service to ensure a positive dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, processing payments efficiently and accurately
• Prepare and assemble food items following safety and sanitation guidelines, including basic food preparation tasks
• Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions with precision, manage cash handling procedures, and provide correct change
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to sanitation standards in food handling and food safety practices
• Assist with food delivery from kitchen to table, supporting quick service operations and ensuring timely service

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings such as quick service or fast food restaurants
• Experience with cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or working in a café or grocery store environment is advantageous
