Dishwasher/Food Prep

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to join our dynamic culinary environment. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen, supporting food preparation, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, food service, and culinary operations, with experience in restaurant, catering, or hotel settings preferred. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable hospitality experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating under supervision
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, dining areas, and storage spaces through regular cleaning routines
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting dining areas efficiently
• Help with catering setup and cleanup for events or banquet functions
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
• Assist kitchen staff with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
• Adhere to all sanitation protocols to uphold cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality industries is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
• Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends or evenings if needed
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks such as cleaning and food prep tasks effectively
• Experience with banquet service or culinary roles is a plus but not mandatory
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service excellence

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
