CEM Corporation (Matthews, NC) is seeking a Production Scheduler to join our manufacturing team and play a critical role in planning and coordinating the production of our Liberty Pro product line. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing workflows, inventory management, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) – specifically within Production Control modules. You'll work cross-functionally with operations, inventory, and production teams to ensure smooth execution of schedules, inventory accuracy, and timely product delivery.

Responsibilities:
Production Scheduler Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
  • Maintain and manage the production schedule for Liberty Pro Systems, including forecasting upcoming builds
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to inventory shortages, discrepancies, and replenishment requirements
  • Perform and reconcile physical inventory counts to system data
  • Collaborate with mainline teams to coordinate flex team assignments
  • Manage production and inventory-related data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
  • Interact with multiple departments (production, warehouse, quality) to ensure seamless workflow
  • Document and process quality issues, damages, and obsolete stock
  • Support process improvements and perform additional production-related tasks as needed
    • Qualifications

    Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), particularly the Production Control module
  • Advanced computer skills, including Excel for inventory analysis and reporting
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Understanding of manufacturing environments, logistics, and scheduling processes
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and manipulate up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to work across departments

    • Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in inventory control, supply chain coordination, or production planning within a manufacturing setting
  • Familiarity with process flow in discrete manufacturing
  • Exposure to technical or engineering environments is a plus
  • Experience generating reports or dashboards from ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
