Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Aerospace & Defense/Manufacturing (Entry-Level) ($35-$44/hr)

Location: Glendale, CA (100% On-Site)

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components
• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software (Solidworks)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, electrical, and project management
• Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation
• Improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control guidelines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven internship/job experience in mechanical design, development, and analysis (1-2yrs)
• Proficiency with CAD tools from previous internships/jobs (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, etc.)
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Hands-on experience with machining/hand tools A PLUS
