About Us:

Sandrino Pediatric Care Centers is a compassionate, family-focused Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) center that provides skilled nursing and therapy services in a nurturing environment for medically fragile and developmentally delayed children. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our interdisciplinary team and help our pediatric patients reach their fullest potential in daily functioning.

Job Summary:
As an Occupational Therapist at our PPEC center, you will assess and treat children with a variety of physical, developmental, and cognitive challenges. You will create and implement individualized therapy plans that support each child's ability to participate in daily activities, both at the center and at home, while working closely with families, nurses, and other therapists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess pediatric patients to determine functional needs and therapy goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services focusing on fine motor skills, sensory integration, ADLs (activities of daily living), and developmental progress.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary staff to support holistic care plans.
  • Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and track patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized care planning and developmental assessments.
  • Educate parents/caregivers on exercises and strategies for home use to reinforce therapy goals.
  • Ensure therapy services comply with all PPEC, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
  • Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience (PPEC or medically complex population preferred).
  • CPR certification (pediatric preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of child development, sensory processing, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM – No weekends or holidays

How to Apply:
If you're passionate about helping children thrive and want to make a real impact in a supportive PPEC environment, please submit your resume along with your phone number and email and a brief cover letter detailing your pediatric therapy experience.
