Junior Production Planner

The Junior Production Planner ensures the efficient and timely delivery of workorders by coordinating the production schedule and resources.

Key responsibilities:

•Production Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed production schedules to ensure timely completion of machining or sub assembly workorders.

•Lead Time & Route: Monitor and control lead times & routes to optimize production flow and meet delivery deadlines.

•Capacity Control: Assess and manage production capacity to ensure resources are utilized effectively and efficiently.

•Priority Control: Establish and maintain priority systems to manage work orders and ensure critical tasks are completed on time.

•Communication: Serve as the focal point for communication regarding schedule changes, issues, and status updates.

Qualifications:

•Relevant Experience: Extensive experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or production planning can also be considered equivalent to formal education.

•Associate Degree: An Associate Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

•Technical Diploma: A Technical Diploma in Production Planning, Manufacturing Technology, or Industrial Engineering.

•Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning or supply planning.

•Analytical and problem-solving skills

•Organizational agility and awareness

•Strong written and verbal communication skills

•Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)

•Knowledge of ERP system (i.e., Oracle, Dynamics 365)
