We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong electromechanical background to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automated systems, robotics, conveyors, and PLC troubleshooting, as well as a solid understanding of automotive mechanical systems. You will be responsible for keeping all mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment in optimal operating condition by performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose a repair mechanical, electrical, and automated system failures, including robotics, conveyors, and PLC- controlled equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Respond quickly to machine breakdowns and production interruptions with effective troubleshooting and repair.
- Repair or replace faulty components (motors, sensors, actuators, wiring, et.) and perform mechanical fixes (e.g., realigning belts)
- Assist in robotic system calibration and integration, ensuring operational accuracy and safety
- Maintain and update PLC programming for equipment performance and troubleshooting
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to identify and correct equipment inefficiencies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance redcords and log activities into the CMMS system
- Follow all safety procedures and actively participate in safety improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or automotive environment
- Technical certification or degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field
- Knowledge of robotics at a technical maintenance level: ABB, KUKA FANUC, etc
- Diagnose, analyze and resolve daily production issues:
- Manually operating the robot with ABB's TeachPendant IRC5 and/or Omnicore.
- Identifying and analyzing program code to be able to make minor modifications
- Making coordinate adjustments
- Managing I/O signals.
- Diagnostics of communication bus problems (Profinet, Ethernet, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of ABB RobotStudio software for connection and diagnosing problems and being able to offer remote connection.
- Knowledge of Electromechanical systems, automated production lines, PLC troubleshooting and programming, Robotics and motion control systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technician, manuals.
- Skilled in using hand tools, diagnostics equipment, and repair tools
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems
- Strong sense of ownership and urgency; able to "fix anything that's wrong" and ensure equipment is always production-ready
- Experience in automotive component (Not required but a plus)
- Ability to work on your feet, lift heavy components, and access tight spaces
- Fluent in Spanish – verbal and written communications required
- Must possess a valid passport – occasional international travel may be required for training purposes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55, $60,000.00 per year
