Automotive Technician

Job Summary

Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to execute repairs efficiently.
• Complete vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and tire rotations to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform wheel alignments and calibrations for ADAS systems to ensure safety features operate correctly.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and offering recommendations for ongoing vehicle care.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
• Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines.
• Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance devices..
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Use of Videos/photos to communicate repairs needed to customers a plus.

Pay: $ $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
