Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing, pipe threading, and mechanical systems, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including remodeling, commercial plumbing, and HVAC systems, contributing to high-quality building solutions. Candidates should possess hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, and carpentry, along with physical strength for heavy lifting. A valid commercial driver's license and maintenance person experience are a plus. This position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to safety, craftsmanship, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines to complete tasks efficiently
• Perform remodeling tasks related to plumbing systems as needed
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades such as carpentry and HVAC technicians
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues within plumbing or related systems
• Assist in site preparation and cleanup after project completion

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction plumbing, including pipe threading and system installation
• Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
• Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems or general building maintenance is preferred
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry techniques
• Physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or working in confined spaces
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs
• Valid commercial driver's license is advantageous but not mandatory
• Maintenance Person experience or remodeling background is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
