CNC Machine Operator

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC machining centers to produce high-quality parts, ensuring that production goals are consistently achieved. Your expertise in blueprint reading and precision measurement will be crucial to our success.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers, optimizing machine performance to meet production targets.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate part production.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Perform deburring and cleaning operations on parts, utilizing both hand and power tools to achieve desired finishes.
• Safely handle and move parts, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
• Maintain high quality standards throughout the production process, proactively identifying and addressing any issues.
• Adhere to all safety and operational procedures, contributing to a safe and productive team environment.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools.
• Solid understanding of shop math and machining principles.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly (50 lbs occasionally).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CNC machine setup and operation.
• Familiarity with Mazak and/or Okuma CNC controls.
• Additional training or coursework in machining.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
