Trainer/Direct Support Professional

We are currently seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work closely with adults with developmental disabilities to help them achieve their goals and live their lives to the fullest.

Requirements

 Must be able to speak basic English/Debe hablar ingles basico 

As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for:

• Providing individualized support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Driving our participants safely to and from locations in company vehicle 
• Encouraging and supporting individuals in their personal and social development
• Implementing individualized plans and goals to help individuals achieve their full potential
• Advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with developmental disabilities

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A passion for helping others and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Patience, empathy, and understanding 
• A willingness to learn and grow in your role
• Must be able to pass physical and TB test
• Must have a valid CA driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Must pass background screening with Department of Justice
