We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in various food service environments. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen setting, contributing to the creation of high-quality dishes and ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Prior experience in fine dining, catering, or the food industry is highly valued, along with a strong understanding of food safety and meal preparation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
  • Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
  • Support kitchen staff during busy service periods, including plating and garnishing dishes
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent customer service
  • Assist with catering events or special functions as needed

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurants or catering services
  • Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with the food industry trends and customer service expectations
  • Fluent in English

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
