Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, construction site experience, and mechanical knowledge. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and blueprints. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling to new construction, utilizing a variety of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems according to blueprints and schematics
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for accurate installation
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for installation projects
• Conduct remodeling tasks involving plumbing fixtures and related carpentry work
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate tasks on-site
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues before they become major problems
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout all phases of the project

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction plumbing, commercial or residential projects preferred
• Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques
• Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and general building maintenance
• Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks regularly
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations
• Experience with remodeling projects or maintenance person work is a plus
• Valid driver's license for commercial driving or site access as needed
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in complex installations or repairs

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour
