Housekeeping/Laundry Aide

Maple Ridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is a 92 bed long term care facility located at 615 Wyoming Ave. Kingston, PA.

We are currently looking for full-time Housekeeping/Laundry Aides that will work 7.5 hour shifts that will include every other weekend and every other holiday.

What will you do as a Housekeeping/Laundry:

You will maintain your assigned areas in a clean and attractive manor in accordance with the facility's established policy and procedures, as directed by the Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor.

• Clean floors, including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, damp and/or wep mopping, and disinfecting

• Clean and/or polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges in resident rooms, recrectional areas and offices

• Clean, wash, sanitize and polish resident rooms and common area bathroom fixtures

• Clean windows and mirrors

• Clean offices, hallways, stairways and elevator

• Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trach receptacles with plastic liners; transport to dumpster

• Refill all soap, paper towel, and toilet tissue dispensers

• Collect, sort and wash soiled laundry, linens and garments

• Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry and linens

• Other duties as assigned and as per the facility's job descriptions.

Job Requirements:

• Must have high school diploma or equilvent
