Room Attendant/Housekeeping

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This position requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and service, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
• Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Replace linens, towels, and toiletries as needed while ensuring that all items are stocked appropriately.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist in the cleaning of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain an organized cart with cleaning supplies and equipment for efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or similar hospitality roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care practices, and janitorial procedures.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial services is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to interact positively with guests and team members.
