Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong background in customer service, and experience in food service or hospitality. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting visitors, and ensuring a positive guest experience. This role is vital in maintaining the high standards of our establishment and fostering guest satisfaction.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
• Manage reservation bookings using POS systems such Micros POS, or similar platforms.
• Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and provide accurate information about the restaurant or hotel services
• Maintain guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
• Coordinate with servers and staff to ensure smooth flow of service
• Manage waitlists and communicate wait times effectively to guests
• Keep the host station organized and clean at all times
• Support guest services by providing information about menu items, specials, or hotel amenities as needed
• Assist with other front-of-house duties to enhance guest experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service/hospitality is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest relations, and hospitality standards is desirable
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and excellent phone etiquette
• Experience in hotel guest services or serving is advantageous but not required
