Auto Technician Mechanic

A Fleet Auto Repair company, located in Melbourne - FL, is currently seeking experienced full-time Auto Technicians/Mechanics for Day & Night shifts.

Duties:
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks on various types of vehicles, like Cars, Vans, Trucks, Electric vehicles.
- Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical & electrical components to diagnose issues accurately and recommend repairs and services
- Conduct routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles to pass to billing - Keep Shop Foreman informed of all repairs - Have your own tools
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs

Skills:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic
- In-depth knowledge of automotive repair techniques and procedures
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Familiarity with powertrain systems, shocks struts, and other vehicle components
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain repairs or recommendations
- Basic computer skills to maintain digital records and transmit information - Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus
