Do you love keeping things organized, supporting a great team, and making sure customers feel truly cared for? Are you the kind of person who sees a problem and thinks, "I've got this" ? If so, Haywood Animal Hospital might be your next happy place.

We're a busy, well-established, locally owned veterinary hospital with a super supportive, collaborative team—and we're looking for an Office Manager who can help keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly while bringing positivity and leadership to our workplace.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Office Manager, you'll wear a few hats (comfortably), including:

  • Working directly with clients to ensure an excellent experience every visit

  • Assisting with inventory management and organization

  • Helping manage and update our website as needed

  • Jumping in to assist CSRs when needed—answering phones, scheduling appointments, and supporting the front desk

  • Being a steady, approachable leader our team can count on

What We're Looking For

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Organized, proactive, and calm under pressure

  • Comfortable managing people and processes

  • Customer-service focused with a team-first mindset

  • Veterinary experience preferred but not required

  • Management or medical office experience is a plus

Schedule & Pay

  • Salaried position: $50,000/year + benefits

  • Full-time, averaging 36–40 hours per week

  • Flexible scheduling options:

  • Four full days per week OR

  • Five days with flexible hours

  • Some remote availability expected, especially for managing call-outs or urgent staff needs

Benefits:

  • Full dental and vision insurance
  • 401 K and 401 K matching
  • Scrub Allowance
  • Employee discount, as well as wellness plan for 1 pet at $1/month
  • Paid time off
  • 6 paid federal holidays

Why You'll Love This Role

  • You'll be part of a genuinely supportive, team-oriented culture

  • Leadership that values communication, respect, and work-life balance

  • A role where your ideas matter and your leadership makes a real difference

  • Flexibility built into the schedule—not an afterthought
