Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction from start to finish. Prior experience in fine dining or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems and food safety standards.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Skytab, Shift 4
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and resetting tables for new guests
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, including wine pairings or specials
• Address guest inquiries promptly and professionally to foster guest relations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed
• Prior experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles, or food industry positions is preferred.
