Venu is currently accepting applications for Line Cooks to join our rapidly growing team. Our Line Cooks will become an integral part of the success of our world-class hospitality and entertainment brand in Gainesville, GA. Venu is parent company to award winning restaurant and entertainment properties Bourbon Brothers Smokehouse and Tavern, The Hall, and the Sunset Amphitheater.

Our company is looking for energetic and dedicated professionals to join our team as a Line Cook. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, as well as experience working in a busy restaurant setting and an ability to work effectively with others. The Line Cook will be required to prepare and cook a variety of food items, ensure food quality and presentation standards are met, and clean equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up, stocks and organizes workstation throughout the shift.
• Prepare food for service (chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Answer and follow the Kitchen Manager's or the Supervisor's instructions.
• Practice proper storeroom and inventory control procedures
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
• Follow proper safety and sanitation guidelines according to local and company health regulations.

Requirements

· Must be at least 18 years old.

· Prior kitchen experience preferred.

· Must be dependable and able to excel in a high stress environment.

· Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
