Summary: The training and development coordinator is responsible for the full cycle training of all new hires as well as continuous improvement training. They must be versed in the EMR system, other utilized systems and the functions of all positions.
Essential Functions

· Training Development and Delivery: Develop and deliver tailored resources and training, both one-on-one and in group settings, to educate end-users on the functionalities and best practices of EHR platforms.
· Training of other platforms such as HealthElink, HealthEnet, Infoclique, Phones, Epic etc.
· Documentation: Support comprehensive documentation of training materials, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures to facilitate continuous learning and support.
· Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of latest updates, workflows, and integrated technologies, actively participate in professional development activities, and contribute to the enhancement of training programs.
· Continuous training on employees who are in need whether it is a promotion, performance improvement plan, or auditing for Quality Improvement purposes.
· Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and clinical workflows, with a proactive approach to support delivery and provide innovative ideas.
· Possess working knowledge for all applications within the program
· Participate in implementation and transition to new software modules and upgrades as needed.
· Assistance with the IT department orientation training process
· Training newly on-boarded students via webex or at the Hospital location
· Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
· Other non-essential duties.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience
- Graduation from a Medical Office training program or 5 years of Medical Office experience
- 5+ years of EMR Experience, Preferably Medent and Epic.
Skills/Abilities
- Electronic Medical Records system knowledge
- Clinical background
- Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office, browsing Internet.
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to work as a team player to meet common goals of the department.
- Willingness to assist in the continuous quality improvement process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
