OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST BENEFITS

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

-Provides clinical assessments for new patients and subsequent reassessments as needed.

-Creates treatment plans of care.

-Provides therapy treatments.

-May provide supervision of occupational therapy assistants.

-Prepares notes/reports for Case Conference.

-Works within a team to provide best practice care.

-Communicates adjustments of treatment plans with physicians.

-Logs complaints and incident reports and monitors for improvement.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST QUALIFICATIONS

-Cheerful customer service oriented.

-Current Utah Occupational Therapist license (required).

-Experience in the home health and/or related settings.

-Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills.

-Knowledge of and ability to navigate electronic medical records. HomeCare HomeBase experience a plus.

-Reliable transportation is required.
