Housekeeping Supervisor

Reports To: General Manager / Assistant General Manager

Position Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in maintaining the high cleanliness and service standards expected at DoubleTree by Hilton Brunswick. This position oversees daily housekeeping operations, supervises room attendants, conducts inspections, and ensures guest rooms and public areas consistently meet Hilton brand standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and leads by example in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations including guest rooms, public areas, and laundry
• Assign room boards and monitor productivity and quality standards
• Conduct room inspections to ensure compliance with Hilton CleanStay and brand standards
• Train, coach, and support Room Attendants and Housepersons
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies (OSHA compliant)
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly and follow up on resolution
• Assist with inventory, linen counts, and supply ordering
• Address guest concerns professionally and in a timely manner
• Support staffing coverage and assist in cleaning rooms as needed
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and attendance standards

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience required
• Supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Hilton brand standards a plus
• Ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and hold team members accountable
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, kneel, lift, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 25–35 lbs
• Ability to perform room inspections and assist with cleaning when necessary
