Auto Body Technician

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Auto Body Technician to join our collision repair team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in metal repair and welding, takes pride in clean, high-quality work, and demonstrates professionalism, responsibility, and consistency in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality auto body repairs, including structural and non-structural metal repair
• Weld, cut, and fabricate metal using MIG welding and other approved repair methods
• Repair collision damage according to manufacturer and insurance guidelines
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times
• Use tools and equipment properly and report maintenance needs
• Communicate clearly with management regarding repair progress or issues
• Follow shop processes, quality standards, and safety procedures
• Take ownership of repairs from start to finish

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional auto body repair experience
• Strong welding and metal repair skills (MIG welding required)
• Proven ability to perform accurate and durable collision repairs
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically able to perform job duties (lifting, standing, bending)

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with aluminum repair
• Familiarity with OEM repair procedures
• I-CAR certifications
• Experience in a high-volume or DRP shop
