Server/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-casual restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and food handling, ensuring that every guest has a delightful dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food, managing cash transactions, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the restaurant.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using clover POS systems.
• Prepare food items as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring a tidy environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as necessary.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food service industry, particularly in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory.
