Appliance Services Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Services Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household and commercial appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and other major appliances. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and experience in field service environments. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, providing essential appliance repair services directly to customers' homes and businesses.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
• Perform repairs on various appliances such as refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and other household or commercial equipment
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, and reassemble appliances efficiently
• Interpret electrical diagrams and troubleshoot electrical components effectively
• Install new appliances and ensure proper operation post-installation
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair procedures and maintenance tips
• Operate box trucks or delivery vehicles safely for transportation of parts and equipment
• Assist with assembly or replacement of appliance parts as needed
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience in appliance repair, refrigeration, HVAC, or related field service roles
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals
• Electrical experience is highly desirable
• Customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Delivery driver experience preferred; valid driver's license required for operating box trucks or service vehicles
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
• Experience with equipment repair, assembly, and electrical systems is a plus
• Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining professionalism and safety standards
• Prior service technician experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
