Reports to: Lead Pharmacist

Location: Dallas, TX 75219

Employment: Full-Time Hourly Employee (non-exempt)

Time-to-full: Immediate

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, maybe 8:30am to 5pm with lunch break-40 hours/week

Salary: $20.00 to $24.00/hr

Responsibilities: Majority of your day would be these actions and then as you learn, more will be added.

• Creating accurate prescription labels with supervision of Lead and Staff Pharmacists
• Processing and preparing insurance claims
• Packaging prescriptions for shipping.
• Accepting, counting, sorting, and stocking inventory.
• Answering phones and directing to appropriate personnel, helping patients.
• Maintaining and keeping all work areas clean.
• Other responsibilities as needed. A full list can be provided before interviewing.

Requirements

· 21+ years old

· Some work at a pharmacy or certification

· Communicate effectively and professionally in verbally and in writing with customers and employees in English to read and transcribe pharmaceutical information.

· Physical: Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 40lbs. Bend, reach, climb and squat frequently.

· Computer and typing skills.

· Standing for long periods of time throughout the day.

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Understanding confidentiality and respect for patient care.

· Pass a background screen

Plusses

· Pharmacy technician license from the Board of Pharmacy from Texas

· Experience as a pharmacy technician, cashier, retail sales, customer service, or other customer-facing role.

· Online merchant with packaging experience.

· Bilingual Spanish
