Leasing Consultant

Job Summary
We are seeking a bi-lingual motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team on a LIHTC property. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property and ensuring a smooth leasing process. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong administrative skills and a passion for real estate.

Duties
- Conduct property tours for potential tenants and provide detailed information about available units
- Assist applicants with the leasing application process, including collecting necessary documents and conducting background checks
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required signatures are obtained

-Prepare certifications and all LIHTC qualifying documentation.
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages
- Respond to tenant inquiries and address any concerns or maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Utilize property management software to maintain accurate records of tenant information, lease agreements, and maintenance requests
- Collaborate with the property maintenance team to ensure that units are well-maintained and ready for move-in
- Plan and organize resident functions and events

-Outsource market within community

-Stay up-to-date on market trends and rental rates in the area to effectively negotiate lease terms

Skills
- Strong data entry skills to accurately input tenant information into property management software
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures to address tenant concerns and coordinate repairs
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as preparing lease agreements, collecting documents, and conducting background checks
- Experience with property management software or customer relationship management software (CRM)
- Excellent customer service skills to provide exceptional assistance to tenants throughout the leasing process
- Previous experience in leasing consultant role is required

-Social Media marketing skills are required

-LIHTC experience is required

-Bi-lingual is required
