Duties

• Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are upheld.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential hazards or security breaches, maintaining a visible presence that deters misconduct.
• Manage access points by verifying credentials and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by assessing situations accurately, providing first aid or CPR when necessary, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as required.
• Enforce loss prevention policies by observing for theft or vandalism, documenting incidents thoroughly, and collaborating with management to implement preventative measures.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping and accountability.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with directions or inquiries while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and experience in conflict management are advantageous.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, or law enforcement training are preferred to enhance emergency response capabilities.
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security procedures is beneficial for effective incident handling.
• Strong observational skills combined with the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential qualities for success in this role.
