Responsibilities

• Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
• Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or specialty fabrics as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, storage rooms, and related workspaces to uphold safety standards
• Assist with general cleaning duties around the hotel premises to support overall hygiene and presentation
• Follow all safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery to prevent accidents
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to deliver fresh linens promptly and efficiently for guest rooms and public areas

Qualifications

• Prior experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Strong knowledge of laundry processes, including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality cleanliness standards are met consistently
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to work effectively with colleagues
• Familiarity with cleaning supplies, chemicals, and safety procedures in a hospitality setting is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 per week

Work Location: In person
