Duties

• Assist licensed electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on construction sites.
• Handle hand tools and power tools safely to support wiring, conduit installation, and fixture setup.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
• Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues and verify circuit integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with team members on framing carpentry tasks related to electrical infrastructure.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with industrial or commercial electricians is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment like ohmmeters.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety procedures.
• Knowledge of NEC standards related to low voltage and high voltage systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical components such as wiring, conduits, fixtures, and circuit breakers.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn from experienced professionals in a team environment.
