Shuttle Driver

Job Summary:

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe, courteous, and timely transportation for hotel guests to and from designated locations. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional guest service and creating a welcoming first impression. In addition to driving responsibilities, the Shuttle Driver will also assist with bellman duties, including luggage handling and guest support, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Shuttle Transportation:

• Safely operate the hotel shuttle to transport guests to and from locations such as airports, conference centers, restaurants, and other nearby destinations.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness, fuel levels, and overall readiness of the shuttle.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record at all times. Provide helpful local information and respond to guest inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
• Adhere to all traffic and hotel safety regulations while driving.

Guest Service & Bellman Support:

• Assist guests with luggage during pick-up and drop-off, both at the hotel and shuttle destinations.
• Welcome guests upon arrival and offer assistance with loading/unloading baggage.
• Support front desk and bell staff during busy periods by helping with luggage deliveries, storing guest belongings, and responding to guest requests.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bell stand, storage areas, and lobby entrances.
• Deliver amenities or messages to guest rooms when required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL may be required based on vehicle type and location.
• Previous hotel, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move luggage or packages up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Comfortable driving in various weather and traffic conditions.
• Capable of lifting and maneuvering luggage frequently throughout the shift.
