NISSAN AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

Candidates for this position must be versatile in skills and tasks performed. You will be working on recalls, general maintenance and diagnostics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Diagnosing and repairing vehicle automotive systems including, but not limited to, engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, A/C, etc.

· Technician will cater to the specific needs of each repair order efficiently and accurately. This must be done within both dealership and factory requirements.

· Clearly documents and records work that is performed on the repair order under his/her supervision.

· Effectively communicate with the service advisor when there are any adjustments and/or additional work is needed.

· Ability to perform any additional related duties as required and assigned by service manager.

Requirements:

· ASE Certified and 2-5 years' experience preferred in the repair of engines, automatic and manual transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, and all general/major performance issues.

· High school diploma or GED required

· The ability to assist other technicians with problems and difficult situations, and the enforcement of safety procedures.

· Professional work ethic and appearance.

· Ability to interact with employees and customers in a professional manner.

· Ability to bend, move, lift and physically perform duties in the scope of the position.

Pay: $50, $120,000.00 per year
