Duties

• Greet guests warmly with a friendly, energetic attitude to set a positive tone for their visit
• Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Toast
• Handle guest inquiries both in person and over the phone with clear, courteous communication
• Process payments accurately at the cashier station, ensuring quick and seamless transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and cashier area to uphold a welcoming atmosphere
• Assist with guest services by providing information about menu items, wait times, or special events
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth flow of service during busy hours and special events

Skills

• Previous experience as a Host/Host or Cashier in food service or restaurant settings is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to create positive guest experiences
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Knowledge of food service operations and restaurant procedures is a plus
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Hospitality experience, including hotel or guest services background, is advantageous
